As a Steward, you will play a vital role in the cleanliness and organization of our culinary operation, helping ensure a seamless and safe dining experience for our guests and team. **Responsibilities:** + Maintain the cleanliness of all hotel kitchenware including china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils + Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment as directed + Remove trash and recyclables and ensure kitchen and stewarding areas are clean, organized, and safe + Restock supplies and assist with food preparation support as needed + Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures in compliance with food safety standards + Collaborate with the culinary and service teams to support overall kitchen efficiency + Provide courteous service and assistance to colleagues and occasionally guests **Qualifications:** + Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 lbs) + Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time + Good communication skills and a positive attitude + Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays + Previous stewarding or kitchen experience preferred but not required **Our Values:** Empathy | Integrity | Respect | Inclusion | Experimentation | Wellbeing **Equal Opportunity Employment** Hyatt is an equal-opportunity employer.
