Conducts a variety of complex and detailed tasks to accomplish the effective, safe reprocessing of reusable devices in SPD, Surgery, and other hospital departments. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, inspects, and sterilizes complex, specialty instruments and equipment for surgical use. Operates Sterile Processing and Operating Room equipment. Completes OR and SPD recordkeeping pertaining to sterility assurance and instrument counts.

Required Qualifications:
Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and DistributionPreferred Qualifications:
