STEM Trainee
The Graduate STEM Trainee will be responsible for executing designated tasks with a commitment to punctuality, quality, and excellence. This role will actively involve collaboration with engineers, production, and quality teams on various projects related to the company’s operations. The successful candidate will engage in research, generate insightful and well-structured reports, and contribute innovative ideas while maintaining the ability to follow instructions effectively
As STEM Trainee, you will:
Project Management and Delivery Understand project requirements and fulfill all duties assigned during the program Actively engage in mentorship under senior staff, demonstrate curiosity through thoughtful questions, and contribute to various projects and tasks where opportunities arise Conduct research and participate in site visits across company facilities Attend and actively participate in collaborative meetings, workshops, and training sessions for continuous personal and professional development Problem-Solving Analyze data to extract meaningful insights and generate reports that meet specified guidelines. Compile comprehensive notes and effectively communicate findings to the supervisor and relevant stakeholders. Identify areas for improvement in processes and propose innovative solutions to address challenges Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions, substantiate recommendations for improvements, and drive the realization of suggested benefits Health and Safety Compliance Understand and adhere to health and safety requirements, learning about potential hazards and required control measures to maintain a safe workplace Develop competencies to perform tasks safely, participate in training programs, and follow health and safety instructions Comply with legal and JTI-specific health and safety procedures, including observing safety signs, signals, and guidelines. Exhibit safe behavior at all times, report incidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor, and address hazards within the scope of authorityRequirements:
University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Chemistry Proven track record of academic success and active participation in extracurricular leadership roles, both within and beyond the university. Has participated in student internship programs with hands-on experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of explaining complex topics clearly to audiences at various organizational levels Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with intermediate to advanced expertise in Power BI and AutoCAD Strong project management skills with a structured approach to handling projects effectively. Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and deliver practical solutions within technical scopes.
