As a STEM & specialist Recruiter within the Talent Experience team at Santander UK, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring top-tier talent to meet the ever-evolving needs of our organization. Your responsibility will be to identify, attract, and hire exceptional STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) professionals who will support the Bank's strategic workforce planning and help drive innovation. This role will require you to provide an end to end vacancy management service (including sourcing). You will work closely with hiring managers, strategic people partners, and other key stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process that contributes to the development and career growth of our employees. The role is designed to support the competitive talent marketplace and ensure the right development support is in place for both new hires and current employees.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in recruitment with a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes – ideally with experience for recruiting STEM hires.
Experience in developing and executing talent attraction strategies to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs, including leveraging digital platforms, networking and targeted campaigns
Excellent communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders effectively
Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers, candidates and external partners
Capable of working in a fast paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and solving challenges proactively.
It would also be nice for you to have:
Experience managing multiple requisitions with competing priorities—organised, agile, and solution-oriented.
Creative flair for building targeted attraction campaigns and managing the candidate journey end to end.
Confidence using data and recruitment tech tools to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
A passion for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

This role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

How we’ll reward you:
As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
