JOB DESCRIPTION

Review monthly statutory reports (statutory trial balance, electronic accounting, etc.), following policies and work instructionsSupervise the job performed by the Statutory team (internal and external consultants)Identify and manage any potential improvements to simplify and automate the preparation of financial informationProfessional interaction with other Adient stakeholders on statutory matters , as well as provide guidance on local accounting topics to other members of the organizationPartner with the Tax team (compliance, customs, transfer pricing), in regular activities and tax planning projectsFully support in the compliance of the CFS Policy, approving and preparing LG adjustments in the Region (Mexico, Argentina and Brazil)Lead the statutory audits, being a point of contact to ensure adherence to timelinesPreparation and review the annual bridges accordance with the SoX Control FR-14 AS well as its presentation to managementAbility to present and drive/lead conversations with higher levels in the organization
