Status Board Operator

Summary: Assign rooms for cleaning and schedule Guest Room Attendants to those rooms while maintaining accurate records pertaining to the status of all rooms. Answer incoming Housekeeping calls, including call from but not limited to guests, Utility Porters, Housepersons, and Engineering department using excellent phone etiquette at all times.


Essential Functions:

Schedule Guest Room Attendants to appropriate rooms for cleaning Dispatch service calls to proper department or area Maintain a daily log of all serviced calls and the status of any outstanding calls Receive and log lost and found items on a daily basis Issue and receive keys, radios equipment and worksheets to Housekeeping staff Greet and direct visitors, co-workers, job applicants and others in a positive, friendly and up-beat manner Operate a multi-line phone system, hand-held radios and desktop radios Assemble, file and/or retrieve departmental records as needed Performs other duties as assigned
