KBR is seeking a Statistician to support government customers in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The Statistician (Senior) provides expert level statistical services required to successfully accomplish the highly technical and specialized data evaluation missions. They provide review, analysis, guidance and input to GEOINT product quality assessment plans, data collection strategies, assessment results, white papers, etc. Additionally, services within this role will include the expertise to conduct technical studies related to the future and proposed sensors to characterize utility and/or performance of the sensor, and support engineering planning for future sensor initializations, providing guidance on GEOINT product quality concerns, Initial Operating Capability (IOC)/Initial Data for Operations (IDO) criteria, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Work as the primary statistical expert as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment providing statistical analysis and methodology support for Government-originated data analysis studies.Develop tactical study plans to answer business questions, perform quantitative research, and provide written summaries of study results.Select and implement statistical analysis appropriate to the problems presented and conduct statistical analyses to derive conclusions will be key.Engage customers and team members on design and methodological issues, evaluating the relative advantage of collecting new data versus using extant data, and defining statistical design and methodology to meet study needs.
