Job Description
Insight Global is seeking 2 DC 3rd Plant Engineers to join a team at a BRAND NEW local healthcare system in Washington, DC. The primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of two condensing water package boilers, chillers and pneumatic systems.
Perform facility maintenance duties for the hospital including repairs, enhancements and maintenance to buildings and grounds.
Assist with documentation and inspections, maintaining regulatory requirements.
Assist with special projects such as room setups, moving office furniture, etc. as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
DC 3rd Class Engineer License or above
DC 3rd or DC 1st
Minimum of 3 years experience in related fields
Experience utilizing a computer based maintenance management system
Experience with building automation systems preferred
Experience with emergency diesel generators and emergency power systems preferred
Experience with DC DOEE documentation preferred
Experience in hospital environment preferred Strong problem solving abilities, with attention to detail
A solid understanding of engineering principles
Excellent communication to collaborate with hospital staff
Knowledge of medical equipment
Ability to trouble shoot technical issues and project management skills null
