Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Learning and Development (L&D) Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Learning and Development Supervisor! This position will implement and manage all learning and development programs, activities, services and products across four Learning and Development (L&D) divisions. Research and provide complex quantitative and qualitative data and information for comparison, benchmarking and continuous improvement across internal L&D divisions. Help set and achieve L&D goals to meet business expectations and L&D requirements. Primary responsibilities: + Monitor and track divisions' L&D training programs, projects, services and activities, providing recommendations and suggestions to attain goals and objectives and manage stakeholder and business needs. + Supervise and assist in managing the daily operations of assigned L&D divisions, ensuring that services are efficiently delivered. + Partner with DCT and external stakeholders to be proactive in meeting business and stakeholders' needs to ensure high quality training programs, activities and services are provided timely within the DCT LD budget. **This position requires an employee to be onsite at various locations across Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.** + Telework (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1422-telework.pdf) is available on a limited basis. + Only candidates residing in Minnesota or a state bordering Minnesota (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin) within 50 miles of the work address listed above are eligible for telework. + Candidates residing in Minnesota and more than 50 miles from the primary/principal work address above may be eligible to telework more than 50%. **Minimum Qualifications** + Demonstrated leadership experience. Leadership experience can include: + Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead; + Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4); + Experience with Continuous Improvement, such as Six Sigma, Lean; + A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include: + 2+ year of experience managing issues, goals and strategic actions + 100+ hours per year time commitment AND Four (4) years of experience working within learning and development, in a formal leadership role. Applicants must demonstrate experience with: + Developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs and learning evaluations that meet oversight/regulations. + Leading change initiatives to improve training programs, business performance, strategy alignment, and communications. + Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and using complex and comprehensive data. + Leading transformation strategies to achieve results across various learning and development programs. + Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to effectively present and address needs, issues, and recommendations with the Learning and Development director and other workgroups and committees. Note: Bachelor’s degree in human resources development, human resource management, leadership development/organizational leadership, education training and adult learning, or closely related field may substitute for 1 year of experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's degree in leadership development/organizational leadership, human resource management, human resource development, education training and adult learning. + Supervisory experience with teleworking employees in a union environment and telework. + Experience with regulatory compliance training. + Six Sigma, Lean, organizational leadership/learning certifications. + Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
