Description
A full-time, temporary professional (up to 18 months) is needed to assist in the administration and execution of housing sub-agreement grants, supporting senior leadership. This role involves delivering critical housing and community development funding to local governments and nonprofit organizations across New Mexico. Responsibilities include drafting and managing grant contracts, ensuring timely fund distribution, tracking deliverables, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations. Additional duties include financial oversight, providing technical assistance to grantees, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least two years of experience in grants or public sector finance, and familiarity with procurement codes and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as finance, business administration, or public policy.
• Minimum of three years of experience in grants management, procurement, or public sector finance.
• Familiarity with procurement codes, processes, and financial oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tools such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, or Coupa.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting processes and financial tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with complex regulations and requirements.
