The AWS Startup Acquisition and Customer Experience (ACE) team is seeking a talented, driven, and detail-oriented Startup Program Manager to join an organization that is responsible for driving adoption of the AWS platform by startups around the world. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing business, and to provide significant value for customers building lean, innovative new companies. As a Program Manager on the Startup ACE team, you are responsible for operations of Sales Programs designed for various end goals such as driving incremental workloads, acquiring high potential startups and retaining our most strategic customers.
You have a strong business process management background with experience of working in a large and complex environment. You have the strong ability to earn trust with multiple AWS Sales job families, the Amazon Partner Network as well as work cross-functionally across the Amazon organization. You have a keen sense of ownership, drive, scrappiness and are committed to driving continuous process improvements to benefit our AWS stakeholders, and ultimately, AWS customers.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage approvals of sales and partner led fund requests for cash and credits-based investments, as per predefined Service Level Agreements.
• Engage the investments offer leads to keep business rules and standard operating procedures up to date.
• Assess investments data on an ongoing basis and help manage the annual budget for Activate benefits.
• Respond to external and internal inquiries regarding fund requests with excellent communication and professionalism.
• Drive process innovation to make the operations team more productive, while continuing to insist on the highest standards on the expected return on each investment.
A day in the life
You will be empowered to make decisions that leverage our cash and credits benefits offers to maximize global startup customer acquisition, growth, and retention. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales teams, Sales Programs owners, technical product teams, business analytics and support teams etc.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- 1+ year of experience in executing operational processes under predefined Service Level Agreements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of working in Cloud or IT Services industry.
- Experience of working in large CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience with Sales Enablement Programs, Partner Programs.
- SQL programming skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Undergraduate and/or graduate level educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Business.
