Job Description Summary
The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of store partners to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience. The supervisor is responsible for managing the overall operation of the store. In particular, a majority of the time is spent supervising and directing the workers, making staffing decisions, (i.e. hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the store’s financial performance and managing safety and security within the store. The Supervisor is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks and Southeast Health’s guiding principles.
Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree (preferred), or high school diploma or GED (required) Three years of management experience in the restaurant, retail or customer service industry Past Barista Experience (preferred) Basic knowledge of computer key board, word and excel programs Experience with financial reports Excellent Customer Service Skills
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Honor confidentiality guidelines in all areas of position Ability to interact with guests in an appropriate and professional manner
