**Job Title: Stamping Press Maintenance Tech** **Job Description** As a Stamping Press Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with receiving daily project assignments. You will coordinate with operators to troubleshoot and resolve issues when machines go down. Daily maintenance logs are required, detailing faults and corrective actions. Every six weeks, a comprehensive preventive maintenance check of the machines is required. The position is based in Plant 1 in the Stamping building, with the possibility of assisting in other plants as needed. You will be responsible for maintaining all presses. **Responsibilities** + Coordinate with operators to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. + Fill out daily maintenance logs detailing faults and corrective actions. + Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance checks every six weeks. + Maintain all presses and ensure they are in optimal working condition. + Assist in other plants as needed. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience as a Press Maintenance Technician. + Mechanical troubleshooting skills, especially with pumps, motors, gears, filters, and press repairs. + Basic electrical troubleshooting skills with 110V/240V systems. + Experience in preventive maintenance programs. + Experience with progressive/transfer dies and press repairs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding and fabrication skills. + Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V. + PLC and robotic troubleshooting experience. + Facility maintenance experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive training on machinery and welcome candidates looking to grow their skills. Proper attire includes work boots, hard sole shoes, long pants, and no tank tops. Employees must wear a belt for a holster. The facility features Minster and Wayne Trail Stamping presses up to 1,000 tons, with 10 press lines—8 equipped with PLCs and 2 with relay logic. The facility includes Plant 1 and 3 for stamping and Plant 2 for welding operations, including spot and resistant welding. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
