Stakeholder Engagement - Associate - Risk & Resil Mgmt II

We're seeking someone to join our Enterprise Tech & Svc Risk-ETR Risk team as a Associate in Technology Risk Governance and Controls to oversee and manage the risk portfolio for various departments within Cyber Data Risk & Resilience.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.

This is a Risk & Resilience Management II position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role:
 

Contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project tasks, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that risks are effectively managed, closed out on schedule, or submitted for date changes in a timely manner. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk remediation strategies, and assist the risk team in implementing process improvements.

Support the risk portfolio management for various departments

Working Risk Officer team, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of risks or submission for date changes

Assist the risk team in developing and implementing process improvements

Manage status updates for risk items and provide regular reports to stakeholders

Participate in divisional risk meetings


What you'll bring to the role:

Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.

Communication Skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through the ability to produce clear and concise written reports, presentations, along with the ability to clearly express thoughts and decisions in meetings and discussions.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Ability to conduct meetings and discussions with team members outside of the Risk team and foster productive and collaborative relationships.

Adaptability and Dynamic Environment:

Ability to work in a dynamic environment, able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining the ability to deliver on assigned tasks.

Time Management:

Effective in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work setting.

Independence and Initiative:

Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative to drive projects forward and deliver results with mi supervision.

Presentation Skills:

Good presentation skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and engaging manner to diverse audiences.

Software Proficiency:

Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, utilizing these tools to analyze data, create reports, and deliver presentations.

Data Analysis Tools:

Working knowledge of Power BI and QlikView, leveraging these platforms to extract insights, visualize data, and support informed decision-making is a plus

At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
