Staffing Manager

Leidos is seeking a Staffing Manager to support staffing on a classified program for the Mission Solutions Business Area within the National Security Sector.

The Staffing Manager will sit embedded within the Program Management Office and will work with a staffing team to support a large FTE program within the Intelligence Community (IC). The selected candidate will collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and support personnel to deliver resource solutions that drive organizational performance. They will work as a critical member of a team responsible for identifying, selecting, and staffing for a large IC program. The Staffing Manager will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing strategic staffing initiatives to ensure organizational goals and program objectives are met on program.

The Staffing Manager will work closely within the program management team to identify qualified candidates, conduct interviews, make hire/no hire decisions, and coordinate staffing issues with customer mission managers, program leadership, and subcontractors. The Staffing Manager will manage the redeployment program that assists current employees to find new opportunities within the program. He/She will also work closely with Leidos corporate entities to facilitate the onboarding and redeployment of current employees, process security requirements, and support employee development. The Staffing Manager will become familiar with the staffing requirements of the program and will coordinate directly with the program’s staffing team to ensure that proposed candidates meet the program requirements. The Staffing Manger will ensure candidates are properly tracked and job requisitions are created/updated as needed, interview candidates, and track and maintain candidate lists/status for each requisition.

Primary Responsibilities: 
•    The selected candidate will develop and implement comprehensive staffing strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
•    Forecast future staffing needs based on project pipelines, resource demands, and business growth.
•    Lead the allocation and management of personnel across multiple projects and departments.
•    Monitor resource utilization, reallocation, and adjustments based on project changes.
•    Identify and address gaps in staffing coverage or performance issues.
•    Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
•    Communicate regularly with project managers, department heads, and clients to align on staffing needs.
•    Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and external partners to fulfill resource requirements.
•    Address complex staffing issues that span across functions or involve competing priorities.
•    Analyze workforce data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
•    Implement innovative staffing solutions to enhance performance and meet organizational goals

Basic Qualifications.  
•    BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be used in lieu of degree.
•    Active and in-scope TS/SCI with Polygraph required. No other clearance will be considered.
•    Candidate should have a working knowledge of IC clearance processing procedures, experience using various databases, and be proficient with MS Office. 
•    Ability to establish effective working relationships with senior-level customers, technical staff, managers, peers, and candidates.
•    Candidate must have strong written and verbal skills. 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential, as well as the ability to use discretion when handling sensitive personal information. 
•    Ability to successfully balance multiple competing tasks.
•    Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, as well as a solid group contributor working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
