The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the fiscal, operational and clinical services for assigned Nursing departments. This may include assisting with unit schedules, payroll functions, daily operations, coordination of agency utilization, tracking of agency invoices, and serving as a liaison between agencies and Shawnee Mission Health. **The value youll bring to the team:** + Responds to calls from associates concerning illness, absences, and schedule changes in a timely manner and follows up as necessary. + Reviews associates and agency associates time and attendance records to ensure accurate work codes are utilized and that associates are clocked into the proper cost centers; keeps managers informed of discrepancies. Makes entries and updates to ensure associates time sheets are current and accurate. + Utilizes scheduling system to prepare monthly schedules, tracks absence/illness and FMLA. Assists managers in monitoring associate absence and tardiness patterns. + Facilitates scheduling and attendance reports as requested by managers. + Completes payroll reports for exempt staff.
