SUMMARY:
The Staffing Coordinator-LTC is responsible for the scheduling of nursing staff within Long Term Care in addition to collaboration with Nursing Leadership to ensure effective coverage on each unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staff Scheduling: Coordinate the efficient scheduling of all nursing personnel, including Nursing Supervisors, Off-Shift Directors, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Nursing Assistants, and Unit Assistants. Ensure schedule accuracy through collaboration with Nursing Leaders prior to publication in KRONOS, and maintain real-time updates to reflect changes.Time Off & Distribution: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date time-off calendar within KRONOS. Distribute daily, after-hours, and weekend nursing schedules electronically with a high degree of accuracy.Staffing Coordination: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) or designee to determine appropriate staffing levels and implement efficiency strategies. Support staffing needs related to training, meetings, and emergent coverage requests by communicating effectively and organizing resources as needed.Sick Call & Agency Tracking: Track and document all sick calls for both RRH and agency staff, ensuring proper coding and timely updates in KRONOS. Work in coordination with the Operations Manager to process agency staffing requests submitted by Nursing Leadership.Payroll & Timekeeping: Maintain accurate staff timecards within KRONOS by entering real-time updates for schedule changes, call-ins, and exceptions. Ensure all relevant pay codes are correctly recorded, and manage the exception log with attention to detail.Professional Collaboration & Communication: Establish and maintain professional relationships with LTC staffing coordinators and the LTC Operations Manager. Handle high call volumes and frequent schedule changes with professionalism, tact, and effective communication.Administrative Support: Assist in policy development related to nursing scheduling, ensure timely and accurate document filing, and prepare reports using Excel or other software as required. Continuously pursue skill development in KRONOS, Excel, and other relevant systems, and perform additional duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

14612The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
