Reliance Home Health Caregivers, one of the very established and growing Pediatric Home Health Agency in IL is seeking a scheduling Coordinator. THE JOB The Staffing Coordinator will directly, coordinate assigned patients schedule and manage their Patients' Nurses' staffing while reporting to the Administrator. This position shall also attend to office and on call Field assigned Clients/Nurses complaints/crisis related to care coverage and work with all team members and office staff as a patient advocate in obtaining health-related goals of every assigned patient of the Agency. DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Staffing/On Call after work to address call offs : + Complete training with the Client Service Manager and the Administrator and run an effective scheduling system that ensure full staffing to assigned Clients and full communication with all concerned personnel + Direct scheduling of nurses, Notify nurses of changes and open shifts, Monitor nurses clock in/out time & location. Notify the line managers of unapproved call in/no shows-keeps clients communicated, Perform weekly schedule management and request. Prepare & circulate monthly schedule for each case, Keep patients and nurses fully informed of schedule & changes during hospital admissions . Liaise with Nursing Department, Patients Families, HR and Care coordinators to modify, change, retrain or replace any nurse with the ultimate goal to gain assigned Client's trust and maintain 100% staffing on each case. Attend to Clients' request regarding scheduling, respite hours usage, and every other expectation within timely manner and in the most professional and honest manner while keeping all communications seamless to guarantee that Clients and Care Coordinators are well carried along and other line managers updated as to the ultimate intended goal . Handle all before and after hours concerns of the Clients calls as regards to scheduling & staffing. Update all line managers on matters and concerns on the general call in log and follow up until it is properly closed. Attend Management meeting fortnightly & hold weekly reporting meeting with Administrator on achieved Staffing Statistics per client basis vis-à-vis challenges and targets. SKILL SET REQUIRED 1. Must be a People person 2. Must love to talk and listen 3. Compassionate about patient care 4.Strong persuasion skill to move nurses to pick up shift 5. Strong Negotiation Skill to change Nurses mind 6. Very Amiable Trustworthy and Honest 7. Smart and very ready to apply initiatives 8. Speak Spanish and English Very Fluently.
