About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented Staff Writer based in Seoul to join our Korean team! As part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding startup environment, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for a journalist and social media creative to showcase their skills to a large and highly engaged audience. We are seeking someone who can craft engaging, original content about life in Seoul for our Secret Seoul platforms.

Responsibilities:

Discover compelling stories and generate a plethora of article ideas related to Seoul. Write engaging, accurate, and informative editorial articles swiftly on various topics. Produce content for our commercial partners and Fever Original events. Create social media posts, including writing video captions and collaborating with our marketing team to optimize copy for driving sales and/or awareness. Cover branded events using Instagram stories, ensuring efficient management of tasks across multiple campaigns. Develop innovative ideas for implementation across social channels.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Possesses native-level proficiency in written and spoken Korean, with an intermediate level of English. Is passionate about exploring the best and most exciting experiences Seoul has to offer. Has previous experience in digital writing. Demonstrates a love for storytelling and content creation. Has a working knowledge of social media best practices and a keen interest in staying updated on the latest trends in social media and digital platforms. Exhibits a keen news sense, understanding what makes a story shareable on social media. Is familiar with social and digital publishing tools, with a strong organizational approach to managing their responsibilities. Experience with Naver Post or Naver Blog is considered a plus.
