About the Role   Are you passionate about film and entertainment? Are you a skilled digital storyteller? This is your opportunity to join a dynamic editorial team and make a real impact in a professional newsroom environment. SMN is looking for a skilled writer with a sharp editorial sense to cover film news, reviews, events, and pop culture across the U.S.   What You’ll Do: Cover tv, film, and cinema-related news, film festivals, reviews, and entertainment stories relevant to our U.S. audiences. Write clear, engaging, and accurate articles that align with our brand voice and editorial standards. Develop and manage an editorial calendar balancing news, features, and film-focused content across the U.S. Create SEO-friendly content (we’ll provide SEO training if needed). Create content for social media around tv, film, and general cinema interests. Monitor performance using analytics and refine your strategy accordingly. Participate in campaign planning and content promotion under the guidance of your editor. About You
We’re looking for someone who: Has native-level English and fluent or bilingual Spanish. Has experience in digital journalism, especially in cinema or entertainment. Understands film and pop culture trends in the U.S. Is social media savvy Knows what makes content viral and highly shareable on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Is organized, self-motivated, and confident with digital publishing tools. Thrives in a fast-paced editorial environment and enjoys collaboration.
