Staff Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) - German speaking
Technical Support Engineers (TSE) partner with customers to ensure their success through deep technical knowledge of Products, Platforms and Systems. TSEs respond to and anticipate technical needs to help maintain or accelerate our customers' development schedule, building customer loyalty and gaining a reputation as trusted technical partners. TSEs advocate for our customers by recommending Platform and System improvements to R&D, providing customer insight to sales, and making sure Emerson Test & Measurement (T&M) is ready to support new Products and Systems.    Does this opportunity seem to be your next career step? Apply today!   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Resolve pre and post-sales customer technical questions through deep product knowledge, complex problem-solving skills, and collaborating with a global network of peers.   Publish customer facing knowledge base content.    Deliver standard product trainings.  Proactively develop and maintain a deep understanding of NI products and systems through formal training and continuous self-development.   Take ownership of internal product and system escalations, interfacing with R&D when needed.   Report product issues or bugs to R&D.    Provide paid consultation and premium support services to Top Tier accounts.   Mentor junior colleagues in area of specialization.

  For This Role, You Will Need: Fluency in German and English   2+ years working experience with NI software/hardware tools.  Proficiency in text-based programming (e.g. C++, Python, .NET)  BSc/BEng/MS/PhD in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.  Experience with a demonstrated ability in problem-solving, effectively diagnosing technical issues, and proposing reasonable solutions.   Willingness to travel up to 15% within UK/Europe 
  Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: NI certifications (e.g. CLA, CLD, CLED, CTA, CTD)   Support or customer facing experience
