Staff Technical Program Manager, Commercial Launch

Lead the cross-functional coordination and execution of all commercial readiness activities to ensure successful launch and adoption of new Resmed Ecosystem Solutions across Resmed’s hardware & digital portfolio. Through the development and coordination of go-to-market workstreams, this role will also be responsible for working across a variety of teams, including Product Marketing, Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.


Let’s talk about Responsibilities

1. Cross-Functional GTM Planning

Develop and own the integrated Go-To-Market project plan, aligning Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Regulatory, and Commercial Operations so that product launches achieve market timing requirements.Facilitate alignment between commercial, regulatory, and operational stakeholders.Collaborating with project and functional area leads, identify project risks, key interdependencies, and proactively develop and implement mitigation plans.Identify and track GTM-related risks and dependencies; ensure contingency planning is in place.

2. Launch Readiness Coordination

Drive launch readiness across all commercial functions (e.g. pricing, training, collateral, messaging, sales enablement, support readiness).

3. Regulatory and Market Access Coordination

Partner with Regulatory and Market Access to ensure readiness (e.g., reimbursement, approvals).

4. Stakeholder Alignment and Communication

Act as the central point of contact for commercial launch activities.Provide clear communication to leadership on launch status, risks, and mitigation plans.Co-lead reviews of launch deliverables and ensure alignment across development and commercial workstreams.

5. Launch Performance Monitoring

Establish KPIs for launch success; work with analytics teams to measure adoption, sales ramp, and early customer feedback.

6. Operational Excellence

Implement project management best practices, tools, and templates to enhance team efficiency. Provides coaching and development to team members on project and launch management methodologies.Measures team performance to achieve deliverables and provide feedback to functional management. Utilize data from performance metrics and feedback to identify and develop solutions for the broader teams to gain long term efficiencies.Drive the creation and maintenance of a launch dashboard, providing transparency to senior leadership on launch readiness JIRA


Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience in the medical devices industry.A strong, organized, pro-active Communicator who can tailor their message to the audienceStrong knowledge of FDA regulations and commercialization strategies.Proven track record of leading commercial product launchesExpertise in project management methodologies and tooling. Including Atlalssian (Jira and Confluence)Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams and drive strategic objectives.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

 

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position in San Diego is: $167,000 - $208,000 - 249,000 USD.
