Primary duties include but are not limited to:Develop thorough understanding of Gigamon hardware and software architecture.Develop thorough understanding of Gigamon solutions and market verticalsWork with cross functional team and develop customer use casesDesign and build system test bed focusing on customer deployment scenarios.Troubleshoot, isolate problems and work closely with development for resolutionTimely test case execution with a customer quality focusDevelop automation scripts for all customer use casesWorking closely with the automation team to integrate use cases into regression test suite.Demo proof of concept for specific customer use cases.Review product documentation and provide feedback to Technical PublicationsField escalations; working with support and development in troubleshooting and reproducing field reported escalation issuesLearn from customer bugs and fill test coverage gaps.Bug creation, reproductions and daily managementTest project lead on occasion Requirements:6+ years of hands-on QA testing experience including:System Test, Performance Test, Integration Test, and Interoperability TestCreating, implementing and reviewing manual/automated test cases and test suitesExperience with test case management tools such as Mercury Center, TestLink etc….Working knowledge in TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, L4 – L7 protocolsWorking knowledge in NutanixKnowledge of and/or experience with firewall, security and SSL a plusStrong network configuration and troubleshooting skillsMust be familiar with packet capture tools such as Wireshark, SnifferPro and are able read/understand the captureScripting experience a plus; Python, TCL, Perl, ExpectWorking experience in Terraform, Ansible, PuppetExperience with bug tracking systems such as; Bugzilla, Jira, etc…Excellent verbal and written communications skillsProject/Test lead experience a plusMentor junior QA engineers in QA process and technologyMin. BS degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
