Your New Role:
As the Lead - Solutions Architect (Automation) at one of the largest global Media & Entertainment companies, you will play a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and implementing advanced automation solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design scalable solutions, and oversee the implementation of these technologies across various departments, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the company’s digital transformation goals.
Your expertise in automation technologies will be key in driving innovation within the organization, particularly in the realms of content creation, distribution, and user experience. You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technology, ensuring that automation tools and platforms are not only technically sound but also deliver tangible value to the business. This is a high-impact role with a significant opportunity to lead automation initiatives that redefine how we work, collaborate, and engage with our audience.
1. Solution Architecture and Design
Lead the design and implementation of scalable automation solutions across various business units, with a strong focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities where applicable.
Work closely with stakeholders from IT, business, and operations teams to assess requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions that meet business needs.
Architect end-to-end automation solutions, including system integration, workflows, process automation, and user interfaces.
Ensure that the automation solutions are future-proof, scalable, and aligned with the company's long-term technological vision.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the automation team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
2. Automation Implementation & Integration
Oversee the deployment and integration of automation solutions, ensuring they align with both business objectives and technical specifications.
Drive the automation of repetitive, manual tasks within content creation, distribution, and business operations to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth automation rollout across multiple departments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the implementation phase, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices for automation, including the use of low-code/no-code platforms where applicable.
3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Act as a key point of contact for automation-related initiatives, collaborating with business leaders to understand pain points and propose automation-driven solutions.
Work closely with product, data, and operations teams to ensure successful adoption of automation technologies.
Present complex automation solutions to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring they understand the business value and potential ROI.
Establish strong relationships with external vendors, consultants, and partners to identify automation tools and platforms that fit the company’s needs.
Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and successes.
4. Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Stay on top of emerging automation technologies and industry trends, continuously bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas where existing processes can be optimized further through automation.
Evaluate and recommend new automation tools, platforms, and methodologies that will deliver the most value to the business.
Promote best practices for automation development, testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Lead the team in experimenting with new tools and techniques to stay ahead of technological advancements in the automation space.
5. Governance, Security, and Compliance
Ensure that all automation solutions adhere to the company’s security policies and industry regulations.
Implement automation governance frameworks that ensure consistent, secure, and compliant delivery of solutions.
Oversee the documentation of all automation processes, solutions, and configurations, ensuring transparency and auditability.
Develop risk management strategies for automation projects, ensuring potential issues are identified and mitigated in advance.
Ensure the automation solutions meet scalability and performance requirements while maintaining a high level of security and compliance with data privacy laws.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree or specialized certifications in Automation Engineering or related fields is a plus.
Certifications in cloud computing, automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), or enterprise architecture are a plus.
Professional Experience:
8+ years of experience in technology solutions architecture, with at least 3+ years in automation architecture and implementation, preferably within a Media & Entertainment or similar fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Proven experience in designing and deploying large-scale automation solutions, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation), cloud automation, and AI/ML-driven automation.
Strong background in integrating automation technologies into existing enterprise systems and workflows, ensuring seamless operation.
Experience with enterprise-level platforms and tools (e.g., RPA tools, AI/ML integration, cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines) is essential.
Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of automation technologies, including RPA, cloud automation, AI/ML, and DevOps principles.
Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) and experience with API integration for automation purposes.
Expertise in system design, architecture patterns, and integrating automation tools with enterprise systems.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience managing agile development cycles.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex challenges and design practical automation solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
