At PayPal, Mobile Software Engineers are the architects of PayPal’s advanced applications for modern mobile platforms. You'll design, develop, and optimize core systems powering millions of interactions daily, delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.

This team is foundational for PayPal Ads. As such, it is expected to be nimble, adaptable, partnering with many owners of key tech Ads will depend on. You are expected to quickly build strong relationships with engineering teams, embed and inner-source as needed, adapt partnering team’s process, deliver the dependent functionality, rinse and repeat.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

8+ years of experience in mobile app development.Prior experience integrating third part SDKs in their appsStrong leadership, communication, adaptability and solution-oriented mindset.Ability to define tasks, drive process, delegate and collaborate with peersExpert proficiency in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) .Thorough understanding of XCodeStrong object-oriented skills including design, coding and testing patterns.Experience with mobile performance optimization, testing and integrationsKnowledge of security best practices for mobile apps.Experience in mobile integration, development and maintenance.Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins), application monitoring (DataDog), mocking tools , build tool development and enhancements, and using unit testing and cucumber tests for functional tests.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
