Job Description:  

Join this dynamic and innovative team as a Staff Software Engineer!  This role involves leading a team responsible for the development and enhancement of administrative and reporting tools. The position oversees all development practices for the web and services platform, driving the implementation of the full-stack web experience. It requires close collaboration with UX/UI, designers, product managers, and developers to deliver efficient and compelling tools, focusing on resolving performance and scalability issues, and mentoring a team of full-stack developers. 

 

Responsibilities:    

Design and manage the implementation of overall product and service integration architecture. 

Prioritize and manage development efforts to fulfill product feature requests in a timely manner. 

Define and design architecture and solutions, collaborating with enterprise architects and the Manager, Software Engineering, to create scalable and robust web applications. 

Create technical specifications and test plans. 

Consistently write, translate, and code automation scripts to test, maintain, and monitor solutions. 

Work with DevOps to transition software into a production environment.

  

  Qualifications and Requirements:     

7+ years of enterprise web development experience. 

3+ years of experience leading teams of software developers. 

Strong understanding of enterprise technology stack. 

Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems. 

Strong in-depth experience in SQL performance tuning. 

Hands-on experience with all layers of the development stack, including Java EE backend and Angular frontend. 

Ability to articulate and explain technical solutions to stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 – $170,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
