Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Execute in a fast-paced delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goalUnderstand the whole product, its modules, and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or moduleWork with Product Leaders to understand product requirements & visionIdentify the scope of the work, provide an initial estimate, and justify the estimate with factsEngage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs, and present technical ideasDemonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessmentDesign, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms for image processing in medical devices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into medical imaging products and services.Conduct research to advance the state-of-the-art in AI and machine learning for medical image processing.Analyze and process large medical image datasets to extract meaningful insights.Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance and scalability in medical imaging applications.Develop and maintain documentation for AI models and systems.Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies relevant to medical image processing.Write code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectMaintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automationBe responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureSeek and provide feedback on design and developmentDemonstrate an understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and be able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Bio-medical engineering, Computer Science, or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with advanced experience.Requirements:
Strong experience and knowledge in the healthcare industry, like medical devices, medical imaging, or biomedical engineeringKnowledge of AI applications in medical imaging, diagnostics, and predictive analyticsProven experience as an AI Engineer or similar role, with a focus on image processing for medical devices.Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Strong Experience with inference engine (Tensor RT, OpenVino, ONNX Runtime, etc.)Strong Experience with computer vision related CNN (classification, detection, segmentation, etc.).In-depth knowledge of C++, Python.In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and C++/Python coding principlesStrong experience with unit testing frameworks and automation testing tools.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).Experience with performance profiling and optimization.Knowledge of large language models (LLM) and generative AI technologiesExperience with AI ethics and bias mitigation in healthcareDesired Characteristics:
