Team OverviewOur Hosting team manages and supports the infrastructure of all our platforms, from hardware to software, to operating systems to PowerSchool products. This collaborative team helps meet the needs of an evolving technology and business model with a specialized focus on protecting customer data and keeping information secure. We work closely with product engineering teams to deliver products into production environments across Azure and AWS.
Responsibilities DescriptionThe Hosting Team is repsonsible for our production deployments across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This role is specific to our Analytics and Insights platform, which is built and deployed using AWS, Snowflake, and Kubernettes. This role is responsible for the ongoing design, development, and support of the automation platform for delivering the Analytics & Insights product into production. This role performs the following responsibilities
Design, develop and operate Infrastructure-as-code automation for Terraform, K8s, Snowflake, and while also executing customer tenant migrations in Analytics and Insights.Manage and optimize K8s clusters and workloads using Argo CD, Flux and Helm.Configure and support dynamic connector configurations.Work with the Product Engineering teams in building out the specifications and provide scalable, reliable platforms for the automation/delivery platformUI Development for internal dashboards and management applicationsCI/CD pipeline engineering and supportEnvironment support including production supportParticipate in on-call schedules Qualifications Minimum QualificationsMinimum of 8+ years of relevant and related work experience.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.Advanced knowledge and experience with Kubernettes, Flux, Terraform or equivalent technologiesAdvance knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EFS, RDS, ECS, etcWorking knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting tools like Grafana and PrometheusStrong Java, Python, and Git experience Preferred QualificationsSolid understanding of software engineering principalsAzure experience a plus EEO CommitmentEEO Commitment
