Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in software development.
+ 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
+ 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
+ Experience with Linux Kernel, Operating Systems, Performance Analysis, Performance Optimization, Performance Tuning, and C++ or C coding.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
+ 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
+ 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
+ Experience in Android Kernel, Android Internals, Embedded Systems.

The Pixel Device Performance Software team is responsible for all things performance for Pixel phones and tablets, from developing OS performance management software, tuning device policy, collecting performance metrics, analyzing and profiling workloads. We work with cross-functional teams to create innovative and efficient solutions that utilize system resources such as CPU and fabric in the SoC and ensure the system runs smoothly to support key use cases.
The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
+ Enhance product quality and drive innovation within Pixel Performance teams through comprehensive workload analysis.
+ Provide in-depth insights and recommendations to identify software gaps and improvement opportunities, focusing on performance, thermal, and memory for Pixel Perf decision-making.
+ Develop and validate performance enhancement prototypes and assist with device tuning for new launches.
+ Create tooling for a repeatable workload analysis process across Pixel launches, enabling reuse for feature analysis, bug fixes, and prototype development.
+ Lead the workload analysis and tooling team in Warsaw and define and execute the team's charter.
