You’ll be part of a fast-paced team that has the agility and impact of an early stage company, while building on world-class Google AI technology. **About the role:** You’ll play a pivotal full-stack software engineering role, designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge AI systems. This role requires a deep passion for problem-solving and experimentation, moving across the full range of applied software engineering from initial prototyping to building full-scale, robust solutions. While you will primarily focus on core product development, you will also serve as a critical bridge between cutting-edge AI research and real-world enterprise applications. **How you will have 10X impact:** + Develop and deliver high-quality, production-grade AI enterprise software across the entire stack during the development lifecycle, from ideation and architectural design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance in complex enterprise environments + Help drive and execute key decisions on software architecture and features + Develop experiences that inspire confidence, delight and resonate with end users, and encourage adoption and trust + Proactively identify opportunities for maximizing software business impact through leveraging advanced AI capabilities + Drive end-to-end technical initiatives, from initial application ideation and prototyping to full-scale development, delivery, and scaling within customer environments. **What you should have** : + BS or equivalent practical experience in computer science, applied math, or a related field + 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing production-grade enterprise/business software + Exceptional breadth and depth in full-stack software engineering, including user interface development + Strong proficiency in Python development, with extensive experience in the latest Python toolchains and frameworks, including developing for various platforms (e.g., full-stack web applications, backend services, data pipelines) + Experience with collaborative software development workflows and platforms including GitHub, agile development/scrum, unit testing, CI/CD, and production operations + Experience using LLMs to optimize software development processes and workflows + Experience integrating AI into enterprise software environments including LLMs and Foundation Models, with an understanding of agentic behaviors, tool use, and reasoning capabilities + Experience integrating software with complex enterprise legacy systems, including ERP integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle) + Experience with deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and an understanding of underlying infrastructure primitives (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform) + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner + Exceptional organization and planning skills + Ability to think both strategically and tactically about driving complex initiatives to completion + Ability to thrive and execute quickly in an environment of change and uncertainty **It’d be great if you also had these:** + MS/PhD degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering or a related scientific or quantitative field + Experience in startups or small-team environments + Experience in a leadership, mentorship, or lead engineer role for small technical teams, with a track record of owning outcomes end-to-end The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000 - $330,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
