What you will be doing
Develop expertise in our cloud security solutions, and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole. Involve in requirements gathering from Product Managers and design discussions. Understand the use cases and workflows of SWG solutions. Design test plans & test strategy documents and closely work with the development team to cover all aspects of the features being developed. Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using tools like Pytest Framework, Robot Framework, Selenium or similar. Be able to own and make quality decisions for the solution. Follow the Test process, QE best practices and suggest improvements E2E ownership from feature testing to production deployment to monitoring & alerting. Work closely with the development team and other stakeholders in various phases of product development to ensure alignment with strategy, planning, risks, and mitigations. Work closely with the technical support team to handle customer escalations. Analyze the test gaps that resulted in customer issues and improve test plan/strategy. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system outages and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.Required skills and experience
6+ years of experience including 3+ years of SDET experience with cloud environments. Strong expertise in Python as a programming language. Experience building automation frameworks Pytest Framework, Robot Framework or similar. Exposure to Selenium UI test automation tools, RESTful Web Service automation. Experience with distributed system testing. Familiarity with both NoSQL and SQL databases such as MongoDB and MySQL is plus Basic understanding of networking and application protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS is a plus Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP AND Cloud Technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Opensource technologies) is a plus. Knowledge of Jenkins, Drone, Hudson, or any other CI system. Knowledge of Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack. Good experience in Web User Interface testing. Effective verbal and written communication. Determined and ever-ready to roll up sleeves to respond to the needs of customers proactively and promptly.
