As Staff and Senior Applications Engineer for PC Client applications in MCBU Marketing at Micron, you will provide technical expertise and value to customers integrating LPDRAM products. You will collaborate with sales, product engineering design, and marketing teams, and support customers through all phases from analysis and design to implementation and production. You will also represent customer interest in internal technical meetings.
Responsibilities:
Ensure critical documents and data are ready on time for new or modified products.Provide prompt technical support for customer opportunities or issues raised by FAE, Sales, or MCBU teams.Lead technical training sessions, quarterly technical reviews (QTR), and industry Q&A.Support failure analysis as LPDRAM spec lead in collaboration with internal teams.Demonstrate problem-solving skills and technical leadership across all activities.Provide competitive spec feedback to internal teams based on data from Joint Validation, TSA, and customer qualifications.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) for technical topics; Japanese language skills preferred.Technical expertise in sales presentations, product demos, installation, and maintenance of LPDRAM products.Ability to assess customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for LPDRAM applications.Interest in handset technologies.Proficiency in software development and AI tools.Ability to ensure product applications function according to specifications.Willingness to provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including delivery and installation phases.About Micron Technology, Inc.
