Description

Seeking to hire a full time Staff Research Associate II (SRA II). In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge Tissue Bioengineering and Regenerative Medicine research laboratory in the Department of Urology under the supervision and mentorship of the PI. You will be expected to: 

perform research projects (molecular, biochemical and cellular) related to developing novel treatments and surgical technologies for lower urinary tract reconstruction procedures.  perform a variety of routine experimental protocols and procedures at a fully operational level including, but not limited to, animal experiments, use of human specimens, tissue culture, protein isolation, proteomics and microscopy.  perform a limited set of specialized tests (urodynamics, tissue tension) on tissue and scaffold preparation.  take on a significant portion of the lab management duties, including supply management, ordering, and equipment maintenance and calibration. The candidate will also coordinate and assist with general lab support activities (e.g. making common lab reagents).  Will have some supervisory responsibilities as the day-to-day manager of the Undergraduate students and Research Fellows in the lab. Pay Range: $28.88 – $46.46 hourly
