As part of the technical leadership team, you will contribute to the mission of the software function by leading teams on delivery of quality products, innovation, product verification testing and development of team capabilities.
In this role you will Identify, recommend and lead the implementation of automated test processes and tools, that will optimize and improve the quality of testing across the test pyramid and in line with DevOps strategies.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
In this role, you will:
+ Understand the vision to design and integrate quality within Software Development Life Cycle.
+ Recommend automated testing processes and tools that will optimize and improve the quality of testing across the test pyramid (Manual to Auto , across unit, module, system and user acceptance testing) and in line with DevOps strategies.
+ Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
+ Strong Programming Skills on Languages: Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript (optional).
+ Working knowledge of Automation Frameworks: Pytest, Unit test, Behave (BDD), Selenium WebDriver (with languages like Python, Java, or C#).
+ Experience with Test Automation Tools: Squish (for GUI automation), Test Complete (for GUI automation), Robot Framework (for automation testing).
+ Understanding of Data-Driven Testing: CSV, Excel, or JSON data files and frameworks like Pytest-BDD or Behave.
+ Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Version control - Git
+ Experience with Defect tracking tools like Jira, Clear Quest, Rally and Test management tools like ALM.
+ Has extensive experience in test automation
+ Demonstrates experience and ability to write code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).
+ Has experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
+ Has experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure
+ Expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
+ Experience with Agile Development environment. Good understanding of the concept of Behaviour Driven Development.
+ Experience with SAFe/ Agile methodologies for software development
+ Experience with medical device Testing and Exposure to Healthcare IT or medical device industry

+ Lead impact assessment and decision related to Quality Engineering plan and strategy for release.
+ Lead, Guide, train and mentor staff to implement test automation across teams. Develop awareness and competence.
+ Lead Verification and Validation activities to enable quality and timely release of the product.
**Educational Qualifications :**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 10 years of experience
**Desired Technical skills / experience:**
+ Minimum industry experience of 10+ years’ in the Test and automation domain, in implementing Automation test frameworks and methodology in context of Agile & modern DevOps, inclusive of 5+ years working as Automation Engineer leveraging test automation solutions of functional and load testing.
+ Expertise with Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
+ Experience related to software design for reliability, setting and demonstrating reliability targets in software.
+ Expertise in Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process and test automation.
+ Excellent knowledge with test execution estimates, design test plans & strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases and defect lifecycle handling.
