Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient careReview prescriptions for accuracy and verify required formulas and ingredientsProvide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians on preparation, packaging, and labeling proceduresMaintain compliance with all quality assurance protocols, controlled substance security measures, and hazardous waste disposal regulationsAccurately enter and manage patient and prescription dataVerify medication identity, purity, and strength through appropriate testing proceduresEducate interns and other healthcare staff on pharmacy practicesProvide support and oversight to various shifts as needed

Required Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degreeActive Kentucky Pharmacist License (additional state licenses a plus)
