*_SUMMARY:_* We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join ourLabor & Delivery unit. This position is a*0.7 FTE (7 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, Nights, Every Other Weekend. On Call per unit policy * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: * Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health * Preventing illness and injury * Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response * Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others * Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care ** *QUALIFICATIONS:* */Minimum Qualifications:/* * 6 months of current*Women & Children*professional nursing experience and/or * Capstone/Preceptorship in*Maternal Health* NOTE: This role will be required to also be trained as a charge nurse * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota */Preferred Qualifications:/* * L&D experience strongly preferred * Certification in area of clinical specialty * BSN Preferred.
