**About the Role**
The Software Verification Lead is responsible for the vision and day-to-day operations of the Software Verification team. The team is responsible for verifying any new software releases by the OfficeSuite team. This includes the OfficeSuite Platform (Silhouette, NowMessage, OpenLink), OfficeSuite Call Center Services (CCS), the OfficeSuite Portal and the OfficeSuite mobile and desktop applications.
The Software development teams will create new releases of the different components on an as needed basis and the Software verification team will oversee testing the new components in a test environment before certifying them for deployment to production. After deployment the verification team will be charged with working with the Support teams at the time of the deployment and certifying that the component is functioning as expected in the production environment.
Another role of the verification team will be to work alongside the support team in validating or diagnosing customer reported issues. This may include taking customer reports and attempting to reproduce them in a test environment where more data can be collected for the development teams to resolve the issue. The verification lead will need to work with the development team on maintaining the test plans and scheduling the execution of test plans against new software deployments.
**What You'll Do**
+ Actively manage the day-to-day activities of the team, including the scheduling and execution of software testing, and assistance on any customer-related issues as needed.
+ Perform regular meetings with team members individually and as a group as needed. Providing coaching and mentoring of the team.
+ Actively participate in and contribute to the testing and verification of software, this role is expected to be an active contributor leadership role.
+ Provide technical support for new product releases and installations and provide as much knowledge and support to the support teams as possible.
+ Communicates with management about technical discussions and project status
**Do You Have**
+ BS in Information Systems or applicable Engineering degree
+ 2-3 years of Leadership experience
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software systems support or testing
+ Systems experience with VoIP solutions and collaboration tools recommended.
+ Demonstrated interpersonal and strong communication skills with emphasis on the capability to work with software development and support teams.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ College degree in Engineering or a related field and 5+ years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience.
