G-Guide's technical support team is looking for an operations engineer * G-Guide is a TV programming service for TVs, recorders, and mobile applications * The service is used on more than X devices nationwide * The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a yearWe are looking for a Service Operation Engineer who is in charge of the system and the service operation of G-Guide. * Responsible for system operation and service operation to provide G-GUIDE service via the Internet. * In addition to services for broadcasting and cable channels, we will also focus on service collaboration with video distribution companies. * Work includes not only server system operations, but also data operations and overall operations of the services providedPerforms tasks related to the operation of systems and services that handle data updated daily and supplied by various companies * Ensure that data updated daily is correctly delivered to customers. * Ensure that data supplied by partners is reflected in services as intended. * Ensure that data supplied by our partners is reflected in the G-GUIDE service as intended* Work with our partners such as broadcasters, cable stations, and OTT operators to ensure that data is reflected in the G-GUIDE service as intended * The number of systems and target data will increase with service expansion, business expansion, and partnership expansion. * Ensure that the number of affiliated service providers, affiliated broadcast channels, and target devices increases and that system updates can be completed without problems or failures. * We are building an operating system to ensure stable service continuity without system shutdown in the event of system change or service expansion. * We are expanding services so that services used on multiple types of devices will not be affected.Preferred experience and skills required for the job * Experience working with entertainment content metadata * Experience in service operations (system construction and infrastructure operations) * Experience in system operations with server operations and cloud systems * Experience with tools, systems, issue management, and various system monitoring required for system operations * Handling of problems in server operations and planning proposals for improvement of commercial service systems * Collaboration with external services (partner companies) * Organizing work assignments, periodic reporting work, planning improvement proposals, and reporting at the time of failureItems not wanted * Monitoring and reporting of systems * Establishment of backup and data archiving systems * Operation of backup and data archiving systems * Licensee support, SDK and other development support * Server monitoring and server system construction (however, experience is desirable but will not be the main task) * Database operationsPeople we would like to recruit are. * An engineer with an engineering background (we don't need someone to look at data, create data, or monitor systems) * We want an engineer who is more focused on the operation of the service than the system (service-oriented infrastructure engineer) * Engineers who are more responsible for the service being delivered to the customer than whether the servers are running or not * Focus on the service being delivered as intended as a product, not on whether the application is running or not * That content is being displayed as intended (channels, program data, and content metadata) * Ensuring that the service is being used more (evaluating that the service is being properly delivered and used) * Providing support to broadcasters, cable operators, and OTT operators regarding service operation. * Work with operators to perform operational tasks including reporting and improvement * Experience in system operation should be utilized. However, we do not want you to mainly engage in system construction, monitoring, and operation. * Responding to changes in data on a daily basis (services provided change daily) * Operations that target embedded devices and continue to provide services in a stable and cost-effective manner on an ongoing basis * Continuously updating the system as a new platform, like a website. Experience in operating a constantly expanding system/service is desirable.Experience with similar operations assumed in other industries or businesses that may be similar. * Operations of a news site or other site that handles outside articles and ensures that the appropriate articles are posted on the site. * Operations to ensure that reviews, contents, works, etc. submitted by users are posted on the site as appropriate information. * Operations to ensure that data handled as a service is updated appropriately * Daily maintenance of the system while running the service and continuous updating of the service * Simultaneous support of services for various types of devices and various versions of services * Service operations for embedded and browser and multi-platform, including mobile devices
