You will need to live within commuting distance to our 6001 Oak Canyon Suite 100, Irvine, CA office.

You will need to be in the office 5 days a week.

What You Will DoDesign, develop, and test components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervisionTranslate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutionsLead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performanceIdentify and resolve complex design issues using sound engineering judgmentApply clinical knowledge to support Voice of Customer sessionsEnsure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practicesCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History FilesCollaborate cross-functionally to drive projects from concept through launch

What You Will NeedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field)Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experienceProven hands-on experience in injection molding processes is essentialPractical experience with design controls, particularly in developing Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)Strong knowledge of test method development and execution of Design Verification (DV) activitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in developing technical specifications for products or processesBackground in manufacturing environments and design for manufacturing practicesPrior experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is highly preferred, including hands-on experience in pre-clinical or human clinical settings

$87,600 - $186,700 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
