Staff Electrical Engineer

**What you will do**
The expectation of the role is to perform validation and verification of product and process changes to the Stryker Sustainability Solutions (Instruments) line and reprocessed products, follow up on containment activities due to CAPAs and NCRs, and update BOMs and routings in SAP. All activities must adhere to regulatory requirements, project deadlines and product cost targets. This will be the only role in STJ with experience in electronics and the first one ever.
**Responsabilities:**
+ Design and develop electrical components and subsystems for medical devices.
+ Conduct circuit and electrical system testing, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
+ Analyze and solve complex design issues using engineering judgment.
+ Translate user needs into product requirements and technical specifications.
+ Participate in Voice of Customer activities and support design input generation.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project milestones and deliverables.
+ Lead and contribute to product development activities from concept to launch.
**What you need**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related Engineering field.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical product development or similar role.
+ Knowledge of electrical components, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
+ Experience with failure mode analysis and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
+ Experience in interpret, analyze, and test electrical designs.
+ Proficiency in the use of CAD and/or other circuit design and analysis tools to design.
