We’re on the lookout for a Content Designer to join the Trust and Safety team to lead work for some of our most sensitive and vital product experiences including safety, identity, and compliance. As a Content Designer, you’re an advocate for the Pinterest user experience, working to help users complete the task at hand through clear, concise, and human language and information architecture. You help set the vision for content and drive product narratives across Pinterest’s features, and develop content processes and systems that drive quality and consistency within and between features.
What you’ll do:
Design intuitive experiences for trust and safety products, crafting language that helps users accomplish their goals while meeting business and compliance requirements. Use empathy, logic and data to inform content strategies. Conduct audits, identify patterns, and lead brainstorming sessions to design content experiences that balance user needs, business goals and compliance. Apply UX content best practices and develop internal guidelines and patterns to drive quality and consistency. Collaborate with researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, legal, and policy to create consistent and clear messaging that resonates with users and maintains our product voice. Become an expert in your product and user group. Gain and in-depth understanding of trust and safety issues related to Pinterest and its users. Engage with research to learn about users’ unique needs. Bring human voices into problem statements and product UI.
What we’re looking for
6+ years of experience in user-focused content design, with expertise in Trust and Safety, Privacy, or Security. Bachelor’s degree in human centered design, a related field or equivalent experience. A portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity and experience in content design, design thinking and product strategy. Experience using tools such as generative AI to drive ideation and shape solutions. Experience leading multiple complex work streams. Product and design strategic thinking. Ability to mentor and help lead content design craft and skills. Passion for building accessible, inclusive, quality products.

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.#LI-BL5
