As Staff Applications Engineer at Micron, you would support Design, Product Engineering and Prod Architect teams to drive Power and Use case study by understanding the features of new specifications and architectures such as LP6, PIM, and LPW and input power requirement to Tech Requirement doc and generate Micron Customer data sheets. Apply all to actual implementations and provide timely and accurate tech support with a customer-first attitude, provide trainings for internal/external customers in user friendly languages, feed-backing to TRD/MRD from application and operation standpoint.
Responsibilities:
• LPDRAM Design win tracking & update weekly
• Ensure no qual failures by expecting and preventing issues to complete design win on time
• Support Failure Analysis as LPDRAM spec lead working with Internal teams
• Problem solving/reporting attitude and technical leadership for all above activities
• Active feedback for competitive specs to internal teams based on the analytical data got from Joint Validation, TSA, and Customer qualification
• Power estimation and some lab work
• Critical Documents/Data for customers be ready on time
• Support customer Training, QTR, and Tech Q&A being Tech leader in industry
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Sufficient English verbal/written communication skill for highly technical topics for LPDRAM are required. Japanese speakers are also preferred.
• Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
• Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
• Good interests in handset
• Software writing skill
• May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
• May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
• Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications.
• May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
• Match here if incumbents are providing both pre and post-sales technical support; working with the customer from prior to the sale, through delivery and installation
