The Crown Is YoursWe’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join our B2C and Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing the monthly close for one subsidiary of DraftKings, managing all accounting operations, and playing a pivotal role in payables processing. You’ll address any ad hoc issues and work closely with internal and external stakeholders regularly.
What you’ll do as a Staff AccountantPrepare all reconciliations for the month-end close for one of DraftKings’ subsidiaries.
Create and post journal entries during the month-end closing process.
Coordinate with third parties regarding payment status and work with the Treasury Team to ensure timely payments.
Monitor the flow of invoices through our accounts payable system and address critical issues with internal stakeholders.
Review the AP Subledger and ensure all invoices are appropriately classified, approved, and posted.
What you’ll bringBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
An extremely organized and detail-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency with advanced functions in Excel .
Knowledge of Coupa is considered a plus.
Fluency in English.
