Description A market-leading manufacturing firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. Key Responsibilities: In this position, the Staff Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and assisting with various accounting tasks. Primary responsibilities include: + Performing month-end close duties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. + Preparing and analyzing financial statements to provide accurate insights to management. + Assisting in cost accounting for production processes and materials used in manufacturing. + Ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies during all accounting procedures. + Managing fixed asset records and maintaining depreciation schedules. + Supporting accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including payment approvals and collections follow-up. + Collaborating with external auditors during the annual audit process. Requirements + 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or a related industry. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus but not required). + Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. + Understanding of cost accounting principles in alignment with manufacturing processes. + Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
