Role Definition
Support cross China legal entities on non-trade payment process.
Provide timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
Responsibilities
Accounting and remittance:
1. Reconcile the expense booking and invoices.
2. Calculate the withholding taxes and prepare the summary and details to each local supply chain for performing the trade compliance checking and then pass to each local BR for proceeding the withholding tax declaration and tax approval on remittance package in local.
3. Prepare and submit the unblock payment request with supporting documents.
4. Coordinate the cash refund supporting documents to collect the cash on credit memo.
5. Provide the reason/actions of the aged items on AP trend report.
6. Escalate the variances and documentation gaps with the relevant teams and follow up the solution until solved.
7. Coordinate the annual write-off process of can-not-pay category invoices.
Control and Compliance in placed:
1. Support BR team to go through the GSA new sign or renew process.
2. Collect and translate the charging details from charging BU and overseas legal entities for regular payments; prepare and provide the supporting documents according to any adhc/periodic audit or query initiated by any level of China Tax Authority.
3. Prepare the report details to local supply chain team for the risk assessment and confirm before remittance; provide the supporting documents according to any adhc/periodic audit or query initiated by China Customs Authority.
4. Provide the supporting documents according to any adhc/periodic query initiated by China SAFE Authority or bank.
