Overview:
A fast-growing infrastructure support company is seeking a Staff Accountant II to join their collaborative accounting department. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-volume operations that directly support nationwide field services. You'll work cross-functionally with operational and financial teams, helping to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting across multiple regions.

What You'll Do:

Support monthly close cycles through journal entry preparation and reconciliationsReconcile production and general ledger systems, identifying and resolving discrepanciesConduct variance analysis and research fluctuations in key accountsReview journal entries for accuracy and consistency across departmentsMaintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial data trackingPrepare and validate financial reports for field-based operationsAssist in the development and review of internal board and management reportingCollaborate with internal teams to support ad hoc reporting and special projectsProvide assistance with regulatory and governmental filings on a quarterly/annual basis

Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least 1 year of professional accounting experienceComfortable working with large data sets and high-volume transactionsProficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systemsStrong analytical thinker with a detail-oriented mindsetSelf-starter who can work independently and prioritize deadlinesEffective communicator and team player
