Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Clackamas, OR. If you are experienced in the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of routine financing data across multiple locations and states and can create dynamic reports to support the functions of our accounting department, this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily financial transactions and record to the general ledger on a timely/accurate basis (A/R, A/P, Inventory)PO/Receive Product invoices w/Accts Payable entryAssist with overseeing APC/AS400 product inventoriesPrepare and post journal entries, including all appropriate back-up informationPrepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for Asst Controller’s review each periodPrepare Canadian Bank reconciliations for Asst Controller’s reviewAssist in accurate and timely reporting of financial resultsAssist in annual budget preparation as neededEnsure that all appropriate tax forms, registration, licenses, etc. are accurately prepared and submittedAssist with Ad hoc reporting for a variety of departmentsPerform other duties, as assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient with accounting software, Word and Excel.Preferred:
