Description Staff Accountant – Hospitality (Bilingual) About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Staff Accountant with hospitality industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Experience with BirchStreet or other hospitality-related systems is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: + Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals. + Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP. + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation. + Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality industry standards. + Collaborate with operations and management to provide financial insights. + Utilize BirchStreet and other accounting systems to streamline reporting and workflow. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. + Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written). + Proficiency with BirchStreet, QuickBooks, or other hospitality ERP systems. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting). + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: + Experience with multi-entity accounting. + Knowledge of hospitality operations and vendor management. + Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
