Description A well-established construction company in Carlsbad is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts + Assist with job costing and project budget tracking + Support month-end and year-end close processes + Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries + Collaborate with project managers and vendors on financial reporting + Help prepare financial statements and support external audits Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance + 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based industries + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks) + Strong Excel skills and attention to detail + Understanding of job costing and WIP reporting is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
