MAU is hiring a Staff Accountant for Bondcote Performance Textiles, in Graniteville, SC. As a Staff Accountant, you will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Shift Information Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days in office per week Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience Preferred Education and Experience Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Microsoft Navision, QuickBooks, or similar ERP software Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred General Requirements Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team setting Essential Functions Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness Support monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting efforts; perform variance analysis and contribute to financial planning Provide audit support by compiling schedules, documentation, and coordinating with internal and external auditors Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for operational improvement Participate in special projects or perform other finance-related tasks as assigned
